SEOUL, June 12 — aespa member Winter humorously revealed that she has become interested in the nickname “Heater” after seeing a fan’s comment suggesting she change her stage name.
The story was shared in a video uploaded to the YouTube channel “Jip Daesung” on June 12, titled “First Reveal: aespa Explains Their Own Universe.”
During the show, the members discussed each other’s dancing styles. Winter praised Karina for her strength and Ningning for her flexibility, saying it allows her to excel at groovy movements. In return, Giselle complimented Winter by saying she is exceptionally precise and quick when performing choreography. Winter also noted that Giselle’s long arms and legs make her particularly skilled at elegant, line-focused movements.
The conversation then shifted to stage names. Host Daesung asked Giselle whether she had ever considered promoting under her real name, Aeri. Giselle admitted that fans often call her by her birth name, making it feel warm and familiar, and joked that she sometimes wonders if she should have used it as her official stage name from the beginning.
